Cashier greeted and welcomed us. The server who bussed the table and refilled our drinks was prompt and friendly. I didn't get to the entire buffet, but my children killed the chicken tenders, fries and macaroni and cheese. I am the only one in my house who eats red meat, so I enjoyed the meatloaf (maybe even suggest they try to make it Cuban style, at least with the olives) and mashed potatoes. The ice cream wasn't the best, but the fruit with chocolate fountain and dessert variety more than made up for that. There was never an empty buffet tray or glass on our table.

Mgr. Poor MGMT and interpersonal skills. Discussed previous Mgr stating he stated he would honor my next meal free. Mgr. Stated he passed away not acknowledging what I stated. The buffet was not equipped with cheese pizza or chicken wings. Made 3 attempts to get items, to no avail. At the end we were allowed to take out wings..... NEVER again!

It is exactly what you'd expect from a classic-style American buffet. Decent food, friendly staff, and plenty of noise. The bathroom wasn't exactly....wait, no. The bathroom was a horror show. But beyond that, it's pretty good. The food was cooked well and it tasted pretty good. My picky children ate until I thought they would pop.

Great customer service and Good food!! The employees that were preparing and displaying the food showed genuine care about keeping the buffet area neat and clean, and the staff was very hospitable!! I'm from Wisconsin and was on vacation during the time of my visit to the South Blvd Golden Corral. We ate there three times during our one week visit, and whenever I visit Charlotte, NC again, I will be sure to eat there again!!

There are days you are hungry but unsure of what you want. Today was one of those days, and I found myself wanting variety, so it was either the cafeteria or Golden Corral. I have been dieting for 3 months and have lost 30 pounds, so I have NOT been eating out and therefore not reviewing as much. I often brought my kids here when they were younger and we were always happy when done, so in I went. The decor has not changed much, the prices are a bit higher, but the buffet value is hard to beat. I ate steamed carrots, green beans, pulled pork BBQ, bourbon chicken, some peaches, Mandarin slices and watermelon. Started with a cup of chicken rice soup. While it sounds like a ton of food, it was my first meal of the day and it was almost 6pm. I won't be eating again tonight, so I think I stayed on track diet wise. Everything was prepared and seasoned well enough, there were no surprises, and I satisfied my cravings. It should meet most expectations and is a solid choice for a buffet style restaurant.
